Lots of chicken, fries, and other foods fit inside this big deep-frying basket. It's 11-1/2 inches in diameter and 4-1/2 inches high, so it needs to be used with a large pot or pan. Made of stainless steel, the basket has a plastic stay-cool handle that locks safely in place during use and then folds inside the basket for compact storage. There's a hook for holding the basket securely on a pan edge during draining. The basket is dishwasher-safe. --Fred Brack

The quality was definitely excellent as far as the basket is concerned. The handle, however, is pretty flimsy. The handle does not lock into place very well, and can come completely separated from the basket when you tip it, or even while shaking it slightly. Nice try, but needs heavier wire and a deeper detent to hold the size and weight.

Excellent value. Handle folds for easy dishwasher clean up. Stain resistant stainless steel should last for years.
